Camilla Skovgaard Shoes

She has an excellent and very much appreciated evolution in the shoe world. After all, she is the fortunate winner of several awards, such as the Award for Excellence in Footwear 2003, London College of Fashion, Young Designer of the Season Award 2003, Footwear UK, Innovation in Fashion Award 2002, Cordwainers.

Her name is Camilla Skovgaard, she’s from Denmark, has worked in Dubai and nowadays she lives in London, where she graduated the Royal College of Art, Italy and Hong Kong. Due to her artistic vision, she and her creation, aka shoes, have featured many international magazines, like Financial Times, The Times, Vogue, Vogue.com, W, Harpers Bazaar. What does she do so special?

Most of her designs feature her signature – that is a sporty sole detail. We loved her chain embellished sandals, which come in black and tan, with that rubber lug sole. They feature a 4.5 inch heel and a .5 inch platform, and also chain details.

Her bi-color cutout boots ($375) also made quite an impression, they are hot, and very much suitable for this season; with a 4.5 inches heel and another inch as a platform, these boots have cutout detailing at arch, a serrated contrast platform, a side zip fastening, cutout detailing at other side with a contrast leather tab at side to fasten.
