The Alexander Wang Fall 2009 Lookbook
The Alexander Wang fall 2009 lookbook is spontaneous, concentrated, very elegant, due to its black & white theme, and crazy cool. Both the runway and the look book express the same attitude towards this fall’s trends, as Wang decided that B&W is a sufficiently strong combination to represent his ideas for this collection.
Before getting to the Alexander Wang fall 2009 lookbook, let me explain a little something about this concept, recently new in fashion world.
So what is a look book? Basically, look books can be considered to be and function like portfolios. An explanation is necessary, as look books represent a product line rather than providing visual samples of one’s work history, in our case, a designer’s evolution. |

The Alexander Wang fall 2009 lookbook is the result of an older desire of Wang to collaborate with British photographer Daniel Jackson.
He managed to create a beautiful set, seven black-and-white spreads, starring model Tasha Tilberg. |

"We didn't want it to look dated, but it just felt right on Tasha”, Wang said, and he added: "You have to have a strong girl who knows how to pose for this direction."
She looks simply gorgeous in the photos, and the images look and feel campaign-worthy. |
