Proenza Schouler Resort 2010 Collection

This vacation vibe became a true fashion show, where models walked on the runway wearing nylon surf shorts with wool crew neck sweaters, city-ready skirts over bright, sporty tanks and tie-dye tops under embroidered jackets and frocks.

Proenza Schouler Resort 2010 is all about striped and printed sweaters loose-fitting blazers in soft colors like preppy cream and navy blue.

Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are apparently big fans of mini-dresses, as their collection was very generous in combining mini-dresses with lots of navy blue, a color that used throughout each look, including cut and layered vest, and necklaces made from natural-looking materials.

Besides the abundance of marine inspired looks, Proenza Schouler designers also brought up prints, especially flower prints, as a feminine touch added to this collection.
It's easy if you think of the ornate jackets, in a floral fabric with a silver shine added to it.
Stripes were also present as a pattern, but there's no wonder, as this whole collection is inspired by marine looks.

And let's not forget the accessories!
Everybody loved them! The show even included he signature PS1 bag in new fabrics, along with raffia added to their sandals (a great inspirational move, I might add).
