Swarovski + Hello Kitty Collection

Hello Kitty has gained the title of a real symbol in the past years managing to become extremely loved by people all over the world. Now, the oh-so-adorable kitty upgrades its look in a sparkling collaboration between the Japanese company Sanrio and Swarovski, resulting into a limited collection set to be released in August 2011.

This unique line, which will contain jewelry, accessories and figurines, will make its grand debut in some of Swarovski’s 1,900 stores, coming as a pretty completion of the fall/winter 2011 Swarovski collection.
Nathalie Colin, Swarovski Artistic Director, perfectly explains the reason behind this project. "As a fan from day one, I saw an obvious connection between the magical, sparkle of crystal and the bright, playful world of Hello Kitty".

It seems that the lovely kitty, well-known for its cute ear bow, will be featured not just on precious necklaces, pendants, bracelets, rings, and earrings, but also on leather goods, such as coin purses and card holders, and figurines, accompanied by other figures like apples, flowers, bows, and hearts. The details and those exclusive crystals applied using special techniques are absolutely enchanting. Our ultimate crush? The Swarovski’s classic "Power" bag in clear Crystal Mesh and Kitty's face made in white leather with black, yellow and pink crystals.

There are two rings in this elegant, yet so sweet and girly collection. The first piece is in fact a set of three rings which are adorned with Hello Kitty’s face, bow, apple, and a little heart. Well, the best thing is that these rings can be worn together or individually. The second ring features Kitty's face with its already famous bow over her left ear. As for the earrings, these are utterly graceful and elegant with hearts and bows in red, pink and clear crystals.
Besides, the collection also contains beautiful, playful bracelets with Hello Kitty’s face on a pink crystal pearl bracelet with a colored bow in Pointiage®, fuchsia crystal pearls and movable symbols. Then, there is another classic item, the linked bracelet that has interchangeable charms, featuring Hello Kitty and its bow in faceted crystals.

With fine chains and a new type of faceting for an exclusive crystal stone, made by Swarovski in collaboration with Sanrio, and the Swarovski’s exclusive Pointiage® technique, these pieces are alluring and irresistible. The main attraction seems to remain the gorgeous Hello Kitty pendant with clear, black, yellow, and pink mini crystals used for Kitty's dress.
