Alexa Chung for Vero Moda Spring 2012 Campaign

We must admit that we are head over heels with the latest Vero Moda collection due to its absolutely mesmerizing and lovely touch. The brand's spring 2012 campaign features gorgeous Alexa Chung who perfectly embodies the Vero Moda spirit. The 28-year-old model, DJ and TV presenter poses gracefully on the streets of trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn where she currently resides.
"We chose Alexa Chung to make a statement for VERO MODA. She is an extremely fashion conscious woman and will surely provide extra focus on VERO MODA’s trend styles," Vero Moda’s International PR and Image Responsible Katja Hundrup said.

This is Miss Chung's second campaign made for the Danish brand after she posed for the Vero Moda fall/winter 2011 collection. Alexa has been chosen the label's face as she is a "fashion loving, independent young woman, who is not content being fashion-cast as only one type but will effortlessly move between looks, trends and occasions, always keen to explore the directions fashion might take her." Well, we couldn't agree more since the famous It-girl knows what to wear everywhere and can easily shift from relaxed tom boyish styling to red carpet glamour.

The Vero Moda spring/summer 2012 collection features and array of pretty, layered dresses, pleated skirts, crisp white shirts, but also soft knits, ankle pants, and parkas, everything you need in order to pull off effortlessly cool ensembles. And Alexa looks impeccably flaunting her long legs and wide eyes and sporting the brand's designs.

Speaking about her 'style icon' status, Alexa said in an interview with Refinery29.com that, "It’s really weird, but very cool. I’m very much a cookie-cutter hipster. So, I feel a little bit bad about the fact that, essentially, I’m a hipster but I’m the only one that the rest of the world said, 'Hey you’ve got really great style!' But literally everyone in Williamsburg and East London has this."

This month, Alexa debuted her new show called "24 Hour Catwalk" in which four designers are given the task of designing an entire collection in 24 hours, while a panel of judges that includes designer Cynthia Rowley, PR maven James LaForce, and social scribe Derek Blasberg select who would go on to the catwalk.
