Karen Walker Fall 2009 Eyewear

For her 2009 eyewear line, designer Karen Walker has a very interesting proposition: a vampire look emphasized with matching eyeglass.
This is a vintage-inspired playful collection which goes perfectly with all her creations, both luxurious and stylized-casual.

It's easy to see what the Australian designer had in mind, just by looking at the ad campaign, shot by Derek Kettel a bunch of young and fresh guys and girls, all featuring vampire fangs, and wearing, of course, Karen Walker's eyeglasses.
They have appropriate names like "Helter Skelter," "Voodoo" and "Jonestown.

Besides the awkward ad campaign (this is necessary in order to draw attention over your works, right?), we must say that Karen Walker 2009 fall eyewear line is absolutely fabulous and extremely hip! The vampire attitude is easily created with a little help: cobalt blue frames, orange lenses, rectangular tortoise, and perfectly round styles.

As a recurrent theme in Karen Walker's designs, a little bit of retro attitude never hurts. Besides this retro theme, her collection is fun, cool, and, with all that, modern. And since we're talking about vampires, come have a bite!
